Max Blardone supports the "Heal Foundation"

The story of the Italian champion is told in a special volume through moving images, which shine through the values ​​that were the cornerstone of his career: dreams, tenacity, courage, commitment, sacrifice.
 
This book today becomes a gesture of kindness and solidarity that Max Blardone has made towards the Heal Foundation , which since 2016 has been funding scientific research in the field of pediatric neuro-oncology.

In particular, the proceeds from the purchase of “Max Blardone – Objects, anecdotes and thoughts of our champion” will go to support the Sport and complex pediatric pathologies project , which the Heal Foundation carries out in collaboration with the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli IRCCS in Rome, with the aim of promoting physical activity among young people and children suffering from oncological and complex pathologies.
 
The initiative is part of the campaign promoted by the Heal Foundation “Look Beyond – Looking Beyond”, which was created with the aim of promoting every type of uniqueness, looking beyond the disease and the limits it imposes, breaking down stereotypes and prejudices.

The project's primary purpose is obviously physical, but also psychological. Having a disability can mean a child "can't play with other kids" and lead to feelings of exclusion. However, the project also aims to promote sport as a form of inclusion , ensuring equal opportunities for the children and families involved, creating the conditions for this to happen.
